Opportunity for Existing First Degree Knights to become
Second Degree Knights on Wednesday, Dec. 17th
Council 660 is having a First and Second Degree Installation Ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 17th. Existing First Degree Knights in our Council 10355 can take this opportunity to become Second Degree Knights.
If anyone interested in going to the Second Degree, please come to the Knights Monthly Business Meeting on Monday, Dec. 15th at 7:30 pm. Sir Knight Bob Hudson will organize plans with the candidates after the meeting. He needs confirmation and a count at that meeting to provide an RSVP to Council 660.
1st Degree candidate registration opens at 6 pm, the ceremony begins at 7 pm. There is no cost for the event; new member kits will be available for $5. 2nd Degree candidates are welcome and encouraged to observe the 1st Degree ceremony. Each Council’s observer is expected to bring their candidate’s new 2014 membership cards, new member kits & Council’s Constitutional Roll, so the team can be prepared.
2nd Degree registration also opens at 6 pm, closing at 8 pm. 2nd Degree candidates are expected to carry their 1st Degree card & Rosary and bring an observer. If there are fewer than 20 1st Degree candidates, they anticipate the 2nd Degree to begin at 8:15 pm.
Dress is jacket & tie. Cash bar.
